Exceptional Adventures is closely monitoring all updates on the Coronavirus and following public health recommendations from the Allegheny County Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In accordance with the recommendations of local and state officials to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the Exceptional Adventures office will only be open on Mondays, Thursdays and some Fridays from 8:00Am-4:00Pm.

You may also reach us via email at ea-registrations@PFQ.org and ea-volunteers@PFQ.org.

We at Exceptional Adventures are eagerly looking forward to resuming the activities and adventures you love so much. Although we do not yet know when that will happen, we are beginning to make some progress.

We are hopeful that we can plan some trips by Spring 2021. In the meantime, there are some important points we want you to know:

Once events and trips resume, they will not be exactly as they were in the past. Due to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Allegheny County Health Department, gatherings will be modified in the interest of safety for the foreseeable future.

All events and trips will be subject to CDC guidelines: all guests and staff must wear masks; and we will perform temperature checks on all participants at the beginning of an adventure and throughout the duration of trips.

Exceptional Adventures will ensure that all transportation vehicles, lodgings and attractions are following CDC guidelines.

Due to these unprecedented circumstances, Exceptional Adventures will not produce a Brochure. Rather, we will communicate planned adventures via fliers, email blasts and our Facebook page.

If you’re not already following us on Facebook, now is the perfect time to do so. Find our page at: Facebook.com/ExcepAdventures.

We realize that changes to our former routines can be challenging. But please understand that your health and safety are our top priority.

Thank you and stay safe!

As we all know, 2020 has been quite an unusual year – and we at Exceptional Adventures miss our trips and events just as much as you do.

Of course, the pandemic still has our trips and events on hold. As a result, we do not have a Spring Brochure , but remain hopeful for resuming activities in the spring of 2021. No matter what, we will always act in the best interest of your safety.

Please keep an eye on our website (ExceptionalAdventures.com) for news and updates.

Unique Virtual New Year’s EVE 2021 Celebration:

November 25, 2020

Dear Guests and Friends,

Our team at Exceptional Adventures hopes you are well, wearing your masks and staying safe.

Due to a relatively low number of registrations, Exceptional Adventures has made the difficult decision to cancel our virtual New Year’s Eve party on December 31.

Unfortunately, 2020 has been a year like no other. We miss our Exceptional Adventures events and trips as much as you do. We are hoping 2021 will be a better year – and we look forward to a time when we can see you again.

In the meantime, please continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear your mask.

Any guests who have already made payment on the cancelled New Year’s Eve celebration may apply their payment to a future event or receive a refund. To request a refund, please call our office at 412-446-0713.

Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!
